What is BMEsTalk LIVE?

BMEsTalk LIVE is a dynamic, thought-provoking and racially affirming professional learning engagement for Black Male Educators (BMEs). BMEs attending this engagement focus on celebrating their strengths and further developing practices that enhance effectiveness and longevity as professionals within their education careers. BMEsTalk LIVE is a one-on-a-kind celebration designed for and by BMEs.

Because WE deserve a safe space to come together in community to celebrate one another. 

What happens at a BMEsTalk LIVE event?


We are excited to announce the addition of a BMEsTalk Community Pinning Ceremony.  Every attendee will receive a complimentary BMEsTalk lapel pin and will be officially welcomed into the community.  .

Who is invited to attend?

Attendees will include BMEs who are: P-12 classroom teachers, principals, superintendents, school board members, deans, professors, education department heads, administrative/educational support staff, curriculum specialists, coaches, mentors, school resource officers, aspiring teachers, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, program administrators, CEOs, educational consultants, school resource officers, community youth change agents and individual or organization committed to recruiting and retaining Black Male Educators in the education profession.

Who will facilitate BMEsTalk LIVE?

MR AYODELE HARRISON, Director of BMEsTalk will be the Lead Facilitator.  

Ayodele is a 20 year international educator now based in Atlanta, GA. He has over 10 years of experience leading dynamic experiential learning workshops for organizations and institutions including ASCD, the National Association of Independent Schools, Atlanta Public Schools, The Fellowship-Black Male Educators Convening, Georgia State University, and the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color.
