History

After meeting each other while engaging in an education focused chat on Twitter, Byron Durias and Ayodele Harrison joined forces to co-create a digital space for BMEs to connect and share their perspective on the profession. In April 2017, after several brainstorming and planning conversations, Byron, a principal in Florida, and Ayodele, an education consultant in Georgia, launched @BMEsTalk on twitter. What started as a 1 question, 15 minute BMEsTalk CHAT on Tuesday nights, has now expanded to a 60+ minute twitter chat AND many opportunities for BMEs to connect, grow and lead.
