BMEsTalk Leadership Lab is a series of five (5) virtual workshops that offers Black Male Educators (classroom teachers to superintendents to community advocates) the rare opportunity to hone leadership and facilitation skills in affinity. The series will begin on February 24th and end on May 19th, 2021.
In February 2020, BMEsTalk hosted BMEsTalk LIVE Atlanta - a convening of over 70 Black Male Educators (BMEs) from across the state of Georgia and beyond. During this 3-hour engagement lead by Ayodele Harrison, BMEs celebrated their strengths and were introduced leadership practices to enhance their effectiveness and inspire longevity as professionals working in education careers.
From classroom teachers to superintendents to community leaders, our leadership development programming builds leadership capacity and facilitation skills to remedy and reverse equity challenges Black Male Educators face day in and day out.
