FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR OF BMEsTalk

Ayodele Harrison

A Vision Rooted in Experience.

Ayodele Harrison launched BMEsTalk to address teacher retention by curating transformative professional learning experiences that foster personal development, professional growth, and economic mobility for Black male teachers.

Ayodele brings over two decades of experience as a teacher, school leader, and facilitator. His work spans classrooms, boardrooms, and national platforms — but it’s always been grounded in one core belief: Black men in education deserve to thrive.

He launched BMEsTalk with a bold, clear mission:

“To create and curate safe, rich spaces where Black male educators can connect, grow, and lead.”

What began as a local initiative has grown into a national network of support, providing leadership development programs, retreats, and collaborative learning opportunities tailored to the unique experiences of Black male educators.
