BMEsTalk Leadership Lab
The BMEsTalk Leadership Lab is a 8-part virtual professional learning series designed for and by Black male educators across the US and around the globe who want to take off the mask and lead with greater authenticity in order to transform the lives of their students and the communities they serve.
The BMEsTalk Leadership Lab Foundational Competencies:
Within a global network of Black Male Educators, we will discover, explore and examine the following competencies:

- Ability to communicate one’s personal narrative clearly so that others understand who you are, not who the world thinks you are
- Know culturally responsive and sustaining facilitation tools/practices to support learning experiences where participants take full ownership in their learning
- Recognize the need for consistently engaging in practices of self care and personal growth through regular participation in a affinity-based professional community of educators
